The Coyotes assigned Dauphin to AHL Tucson on Tuesday.
With Peter Holland (personal) expected to make his Coyotes debut Tuesday against Detroit, the team is no longer in need of Dauphin's services at forward. The 21-year-old pivot has only tallied three points (two goals, one assist) in 20 games with the big club this season, and isn't a viable fantasy option at this stage in his career.
