Elliott signed a one-year, two-way contract with the Coyotes on Thursday, General Fanager reports. After the Islanders' Brock Nelson and Panthers' Jonathan Huberdeau were able to secure multi-year contracts hours earlier, Elliott became the last of the NHL's restricted free agents to reach terms on a contract for 2015-16. The 24-year-old blueliner, who tallied 19 goals and 40 points in 64 games for AHL Lake Erie in the Avalanche organization last season, will attempt to claim a third-pairing role with the Coyotes in training camp.
