Schneider will face the Blackhawks on the road Thursday night, Chris Ryan of The Star-Ledger reports.

Schneider's recent struggles have been well documented, but as a reminder, he's gone 1-3-1 with an unsightly 3.58 GAA and .874 save mark over the last five games. One goal has been the difference for the Devils in the past four, however, and the blame shouldn't be pinned squarely on Schneider, as the team has struggled to build cohesion on the blue line between rookie Yohann Auvitu and veteran Ben Lovejoy, who has a minus-6 rating in his first go-around with the club.
