Bastian agreed to terms on a three-year, entry-level contract with New Jersey on Wednesday.

Bastian was selected 41st overall in the 2016 NHL Draft and is currently playing in the OHL for the Mississauga Steelheads. Already this season, the winger has notched four goals and six assists in just six outings. The 18-year-old was just off the point per game pace last year and appears poised to crack that threshold in 2016-17. Although he won't suit up for the Devils this season, Bastian is certainly a player to watch in dynasty leagues.
