Devils Place Janssen On Waivers

Janssen was placed on waivers by the Devils on Monday, Renaud Lavoie of the Montreal Journal reports.Janssen has played in 24 games for the Devils this season, scoring three goals over that stretch to go along with 22 penalty minutes. He has not been known for his offensive output over his career but instead his reputation as an enforcer for the team. He could head to the AHL if he clears waivers.
