Zajac notched a power-play assist in Tuesday's 2-1 win over Anaheim.

He got a secondary helper on Taylor Hall's first goal, which tied the game 1-1 at the time. Zajac's off to a solid start in 2016-17, having notched two points in three games while once again enjoying enormous minutes. He's a remarkable player in that New Jersey's continued to load him up with ice time over the years despite point production that doesn't even deserve to be labeled mediocre. When you average almost 20 minutes of ice time and yet tally just 42 points in 74 games, well ... you're the Devils' first-line center.
