Gibson will be in the crease as Tuesday's home starter against the Canadiens, Eric Stephens of the Orange County Register reports.

Gibson allowed six goals over his last two starts, taking losses to the Kings and Blackhawks in the process. Life as the No. 1 backstop has come with its share of challenges for the 23-year-old, as he's 6-7-3 with a 2.62 GAA on the season; he's being outperformed by backup Jonathan Bernier, who only has one loss to complement a shiny .933 save mark in nine games. Meanwhile, the Habs have won their past two matches despite totaling only four goals in that span.
