Rakell assisted on Shawn Horcoff's game-winning-goal on Tuesday versus the Flames.
The point was only Rakell's fifth in the month of December, despite the fact that he has been consistently playing in Anaheim's top-six throughout, even spending significant time with Ryan Getzlaf and Corey Perry. Rakell's minutes have seen a nice spike in the past month or so, including some nice power play minutes, which may lead to some more production in the future. However, until that time comes, it may be wise to leave Rakell on your bench in favour of more consistent options.
