Russell (upper body) remains day-to-day but is expected to travel with the team next week, per Flames head coach Bob Hartley.
The Flames have a three-game road trip that begins this Tuesday against the Ducks and concludes Nov. 28. It's encouraging that Russell will at least be on the trip, but we may not learn more about the defender's availability to play in any of those games until next week. Unfortunately, Russel has only posted four points in 21 games this season and that also comes with an ugly minus-9 rating.
