Neuvirth's collapse during Sunday's game was related to an illness, but he will remain in the hospital for another day, Bill Meltzer of NHL.com reports.
Neuvirth will skip Sunday's tilt against the Rangers as a result of the illness, but it sounds as though he may not be away from the team for too long. With the regular season winding down, the Flyers have little incentive to rush the netminder back into action, so they will likely ensure he's fully healthy before rolling him back into the crease. It wouldn't be surprising if he sits through the club's two-game road trip, potentially slating his return for Saturday's game against the Blue Jackets.
