Gostisbehere recorded a goal, an assist, a plus-3 rating and five shots in a 6-2 drubbing of the Penguins on Sunday.
This snapped a five-game pointless streak for the young defenseman, and it was his first goal since his team's last trip to Pittsburgh for the outdoor game at the end of February. Gostisbehere has already played more games than last season, and he has 10 fewer goals, 14 fewer points and a minus-21 rating. He has more shots than last season, but as some might have expected, he hasn't come anywhere close to repeating his 11.2 shooting percentage from 2015-16.
