Mason will start in goal at home Tuesday night against the Bruins, CSN Philadelphia's Tim Panaccio reports.

Mason getting the starting nod comes as no surprise, as he gave way to Anthony Stolarz for his NHL debut Sunday, while complementary goalie Michal Neuvirth (lower body) remains on long-term injured reserve. Mason will face a Bruins team that has been inconsistent in the attacking zone, ranking just 23rd in the league at 2.36 goals per contest.
