Gilbert Sent To Rockford By The Hawks

Gilbert was assigned to Rockford of the AHL by the Blackhawks on Tuesday as part of the team's first cuts, the ESPN Chicago reports.This will be the fifth straight year that he is skating for Rockford. He is still only 22, but his prospect days are fading.
