Habs Assign Thrower To ECHL

Thrower has been assigned to the Brampton Beast of the East Coast Hockey League, the Hamilton Spectator reports.Thrower, a second-round draft pick in 2012 (51st overall), has yet to play for AHL Hamilton due to offseason ankle surgery. He was cleared to play Dec. 19.
