Labrie was waived by the Blackhawks on Monday, Chris Kuc of the Chicago Tribune reports.Labrie stood little chance of breaking camp with the Blackhawks, who boast considerable depth, even on the checking line. Expect Labrie to pass through waivers and open the season with AHL Rockford.
