Lindholm fell just shy of the 40-point mark for the second straight season in 2015-16, finishing fourth in team scoring with 39 points.

Lindholm was one of just a handful of bright spots on a mediocre Canes team this year. He took a major step forward in ice time, averaging a career-high 18:07 per game, and cemented himself as a top-six player for the Hurricanes all season long. Lindholm is set to undergo off-season foot surgery this summer, but barring any complications, should be back ready to go when training camps open oin September.
