Halak will start in goal Tuesday night against the visiting Sharks.

After impressing with Team Europe in the World Cup, Halak has been inconsistent at the start of the 2016-17 campaign, going 1-1 with a 3.00 GAA and .906 save percentage. However, most of the ugliness embedded in those numbers can be attributed to his first outing against the Rangers, when he coughed up four goals on the road. Be patient with the Czech goalie.
