Prince will get a shot to play on the first line with John Tavares, Cory Wright of Islanders web site reports.
It's been over a season but the Islanders are still trying to find wingers who can consistently play with Tavares. Coach Jack Capuano loves to tinker with his lines so there really is no telling how long Prince will stay on the top line if he doesn't produce right away. The Islanders are looking for consistent scoring from wherever they can get it but it's unlikely that Capuano will have much patience with Prince if the chemistry between him and Tavares isn't instant. He may just be the next wing in line to get a shot.
