With a playoff berth within reach, Greiss has underwhelmed in March, posting a 5-6-2 record with a .901 save percentage and 3.10 GAA. Inconsistency has been an issue, as the backstop has allowed three goals or more in seven of those 13 outings. His 47 starts are the most of his career by a significant margin (38 last year), so fatigue could be setting in. Greiss has started 35 of the past 40 games, after all. While keeping your expectations in check going forward is advised, Greiss is still worth turning to in favorable matchups.
