Hellebuyck gave up six goals on 29 shots before getting benched in the third period of Thursday's 6-3 loss to the Oilers.

Hellebuyck couldn't contain the Oilers' power-play offense, allowing three goals during the man advantage in two periods. Before Thursday's matchup, the netminder had looked sharp, accounting for a shutout on 42 shots and grabbing another win by giving up just two goals to the Devils. While that two-game winning streak looked good on paper, the 23-year-old had lost his previous four contests by giving up a total of 14 goals in the process. With Hellebuyck, you have to take the good with the bad, and Thursday's was easily his worst performance of the year.
