Pavelec will start Thursday's road tilt in San Jose, Ken Wiebe of the Winnipeg Sun reports.
The 28-year-old netminder is coming off of an impressive performance in his last start, a 5-1 victory over Minnesota on Sunday. While Pavelec has struggled on the whole this year (2.74 GAA, .906 save percentage), he could carry the momentum from his last start into San Jose on Thursday night. The Sharks have clinched a playoff spot with 96 points as they enter Thursday's game, but their home record is just 17-19-3.
