Forbort was scratched from the lineup Thursday with an illness, Lisa Dillman of the Los Angeles Times reports.
Forbort took part in the optional morning skate, but must have felt worse as the day wore on. As a result, Jamie McBain will replace him in the lineup Thursday, likely pairing with Christian Ehrhoff in his place. His next chance to rejoin the lineup swill come Friday against the Hurricanes.
