Kings' Jeff Carter: Grabs first two points of season Tuesday

Carter set up two goals in Tuesday's 6-3 loss to the Wild.

Carter struggled in the first two games of the season, especially in the defensive zone, as he had skated to a minus-3 rating. His pair of apples Tuesday certainly were eaten up by his fantasy owners, though, and it goes to show that Carter can catch fire on short notice. He's been remarkably consistent from one year to the next, producing exactly 62 points in each of the past two seasons.
