Maple Leafs' Colin Greening: Assigned to minors

Greening was assigned to AHL Toronto on Sunday, Chris Johnston of Sportsnet reports.

Greening made eight appearances with the Leafs following his Feb. 9 acquisition from the Senators, tallying one goal and two assists on 18 shot attempts. His demotion could signal that the Leafs expect to have at least one of Tyler Bozak (head) or Milan Michalek (finger) back in the fold for Monday's game against the Lightning.
