Fehr and defenseman Steve Oleksy -- along with a 2017 fourth-round pick -- were traded from Pittsburgh to Toronto on Wednesday in exchange for Frank Corrado, ESPN's Pierre LeBrun reports.

Fehr was waived by the Penguins on Tuesday, which was a not-so-subtle hint that he'd ultimately be packaged in a trade. The 31-year-old winger has one year remaining on a contract that includes an average annual value of $2 million; he'll be an unrestricted free agent once that deal expires. This transaction should positively impact the Leafs since Fehr is a veteran who figures to provide sound guidance to the team's burgeoning forwards.
