Holland (concussion) received a qualifying offer from the Maple Leafs on Monday, Chris Johnston of Sportsnet reports.

Holland missed the last 12 games of the season while dealing with concussion symptoms but is expected to be ready to go for the start of 2016-17. Although the winger tallied just 27 points on the year, 11 of those points came on the man advantage where he average 2:29 in ice time per night. Along with Holland, Toronto also made qualifying offers to Josh Leivo, Martin Marincin, Connor Carrick, Frank Corrado, and Garret Sparks in order to retain their rights as restricted free agents.
