Nylander (upper body) has been cleared to suit up against Edmonton on Tuesday, David Alter of The Athletic reports.
Nylander appears to have avoided a serious injury after missing Saturday's outing. On the year, the winger has racked up 15 points, including four goals and five assists on the power play. An extended absence for the 20-year-old would have been a serious blow to the Leafs' chances of making the playoffs this season. The center figures to return to Toronto's power play and should resume being a top-end fantasy option.
