Sekera (undisclosed) will not return at any point during the Oilers' series against the Ducks, Jack Michaels of 740 The FAN reports.

Sekera's undisclosed issue arose during the club's Game 5 tilt against the Ducks on Friday and it appears the issue is more than just a minor bump. He will skip Game 6 and would also miss Game 7 should the Oilers force it. The blueliner hasn't been ruled out for the playoffs, leaving hope that he could return for the Western Conference finals should the Oilers manage to scratch out consecutive victories. Eric Gryba will replace him in Sunday's Game 6 lineup.
