Gordon (back) is likely out for the remainder of the season, Jonathan Willis of the Edmonton Journal reports.Gordon remains bothered by the back issue and will miss an eighth consecutive game Thursday against the Sharks. Since Gordon failed to resume practicing as of Wednesday, the club will probably opt to shut him down in an effort to get him healthy heading into the 2015-16 campaign, which will be a contract year.
