Oilers' Joseph Gambardella: Signs entry-level contract

Gambardella agreed to terms with the Oilers on a two-year, entry-level deal Tuesday.

During his senior season at UMass-Lowell, Gambardella racked up 18 goals and 34 assists -- good for 1.32 points per game. All told, the center compiled 129 points during his four-year collegiate career. The 23-year-old's entry-level deal will kick in starting with the 2017-18 campaign; he'll report to AHL Bakersfield for the remainder of the year.
