Panthers Reassign Ellis

Ellis was reassigned to AHL San Antonio on Thursday.Ellis was called up by the Panthers on March 4 on an emergency basis, so with Al Montoya (groin) finally ready to return from a long-term absence, Ellis will be required to head back to San Antonio. Over his eight appearances with the Panthers, Ellis did well to keep the team competitive, going 4-3-1 with a 2.35 GAA and .914 save percentage.
