Fehr (elbow) will make his season debut Saturday as a fourth-line winger.
Fehr, who will immediately become part of Pittsburgh's penalty-killing unit, said he prefers to play center but understands that the Penguins have an abundance of centermen. He's expected to skate with Matt Cullen and Sergei Plotnikov. Fehr scored 19 goals and 33 points in 75 games for Washington in 2014-15.
