Penguins' Sidney Crosby: Next step around corner?

Crosby (concussion) may be getting closer to an eventual return to action. "He is making progress," coach Mike Sullivan said. "Our hope is here that he can make a big step this week."

The Penguins coach didn't specify what the next step entails, but Crosby will likely need to take part in several full practices before coming back to play. His status continues to be called day-to-day though he's missed more than one week.
