Penguins GM Jim Rutherford said Letang (concussion) has been cleared to participate for the start of training camp Friday.Letang has missed double-digit games in each of the past four seasons, with two of his more serious setbacks in coming just the last two years. In 2013-14, he missed over two months following a stroke and later suffered a broken foot and hand in the playoffs, then saw his past season end in late March after suffering a concussion following a collision with the end boards in a game. Though he's now healthy, few defenseman present as much injury risk -- and scoring ability -- as Letang. He remains best optimized in leagues with large benches or multiple IR spots, where fantasy owners can take advantage of the huge point totals he'll provide when he's on the ice and avoid a roster crunch when he inevitably misses time due to injury.
