Rangers' Ryan McDonagh: Hits 40 points for second time in career

McDonagh's goal Saturday in Los Angeles was his 40th point of the season.

This is the second time McDonagh's reached the 40-point mark, but fantasy owners' dreams of him hitting 50 seem to have been just that: dreams. It seemed like that was nearly guaranteed after he rattled off 25 points in his first 38 contests, but the Rangers' captain has really slowed down since the new year, modestly netting 15 points over 37 games. However, he's at least gone plus-10 with 77 shots in that span, so he's still contributing to some degree for fantasy owners.
