Red Wings' Almquist Heading To Russia

Almquist has signed a two-year deal with Severestal of the KHL, the Detroit Free Press reports.The Red Wings retain Almquist's rights, but Almquist had previously expressed his displeasure about playing in the AHL. Almquist had a goal in two games with Detroit last season.
