Kronwall will likely not play one of the Red Wings' next two contests, as he cannot play three games in a row due to his previously injured knee, Helene St. James of the Detroit Free Press reports.
With the Red Wings in the peculiar position of having to play three games in as many days, Kronwall is slated take a rest for either Monday or Tuesday's game against the Hurricanes so as not to push his knee too hard. The veteran blueliner will take one of the days off and will likely be all-systems-go either way for Thursday's game in Tampa Bay.
