Nosek was called up Saturday, but he'll be scratched for the home matinee against the Avalanche, Ansar Khan of MLive.com reports.
Nosek was an emergency recall ahead of the contest since an unnamed forward for the Wings was iffy to play due to an injury, though it evidently was a false alarm. As a result, we expect that the Czech prospect will return to AHL Grand Rapids, perhaps in time for Saturday evening's road contest against the Chicago Wolves.
