Bertuzzi will be sidelined 3-to-5 weeks with a high ankle sprain, Helene St. James of the Detroit Free Press reports.

Bertuzzi was already placed on injured reserve by the team, but now has a clear timeline for a return to action. Considering how bad the injury could have been, the winger missing just three weeks is certainly a silver lining for a banged up Detroit squad. In the meantime, Tomas Jurco was recalled from a conditioning assignment and should serve as Bertuzzi's replacement on the depth chart.
