Last week, head coach Dan Blysma said Kane will miss "weeks" with the three cracked ribs that he sustained in the season opener Thursday, when he was going after a loose puck and crashed into the boards while facing the Habs. Fantasy owners of Kane have little choice but to wait out his injury -- he's too valuable to drop outright in most leagues.
