Falk (lower body) is still considered day-to-day and will miss Monday's outing against Detroit.

After re-inserting himself into the lineup -- following a seven-game stretch watching from the bench -- for five outings, Falk will now miss his third straight contest with this lingering lower-body injury. In order to fill the gap left by the 28-year-old, the Sabres called up Brady Austin and Casey Nelson, both of whom are expected to suit up versus the Red Wings. Falk is without a timeline to return, which leaves his stats for the remainder of the season up in the air.
