Goodrow was sent down to the AHL on Tuesday, Mike Halford of Pro Hockey Talk reports.

Goodrow got into five of the Sharks' six preseason games, recording just a single point while averaging 14:41 of ice time. The 23-year-old found twine 20 times and added 19 helpers at the AHL level last year, but was far less productive with the Sharks (three points and 16 PIM in 14 contests), so it's not exactly shocking that he wasn't able to break camp. Goodrow does have two full professional seasons under his belt, though, so he'll continue to earn valuable experience and develop his game while waiting for his next shot with the big club.
