Martin grabbed an assist in a 7-4 road loss to the Rangers on Monday.

It's the first point of the season for the 13th-year NHLer, who put up 20 in 78 games in his first campaign with the Sharks last year. Martin hardly shoots the puck (49 SOG in 2015-16) but is sound at both ends of the rink, as evidenced by his plus-13 rating last year and career plus-115 mark. In addition, he regularly receives around 20 minutes of ice time per game and is capable of posting triple-digit blocked shots, so there's still some value to be had with the veteran blueliner in the deepest leagues and daily formats, depending on his price.
