Roussel (hand) netted six goals and added two assists during France's run at the 2017 IIHF World Championship.
Roussel's season-ending hand injury clearly didn't seem to bother him very much, as he tied for second in goals in the tournament. The 27-year-old enjoyed a decently productive 2016-17 campaign with Dallas despite missing 22 games to injury, racking up 27 points and posting a plus-1 rating to boost his already good reputation as a two-way player.
