Moen (upper body) was placed on injured reserve Wednesday, per NHL.com's media site.
Moen missed Saturday's game against the Panthers with the injury, but returned to practice Monday, before once again being held out of Tuesday's tilt against the Flyers with the ailment. Now that he's been placed on injured reserve, he won't be eligible to return to Dallas' lineup until Oct. 29 against the Canucks.
