Eberle (shoulder) will start the season on injured reserve, Jim Matheson of the Edmonton Journal reports.Eberle starting the season on the IR comes as no surprise as he's expected to be out 4-to-6 weeks with the right shoulder injury originally sustained in a preseason game last week. Once healthy, Eberle could start seeing more consistent ice time with Ryan Nugent-Hopkins, a supremely talented center. Since entering the NHL in 2010-11, Eberle has played exclusively with the Oilers, and last year he set in 24 goals and 39 assists through 81 games.
