  • As expected, Skille (concussion) will return to the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Canadiens. The former first-round pick is expected to slot back into the lineup Wednesday as a top-six forward, skating alongside Alex Tanguay and Nathan Mackinnon on Colorado's second line. He's only managed to register 12 points (seven goals, five assists) in 54 games this season, however, and will need to start producing on a more consistent basis to gain relevance in fantasy leagues.

  • Avalanche's Jack Skille: Expected to play Wednesday
    By RotoWire Staff

Skille (concussion) is expected to be ready to play Wednesday against the Canadiens, Mike Chambers of the Denver Post reports. Skille has missed the team's last five games since sustaining the concussion and will have to officially be activated off injured reserve before puck drop Wednesday, but all signs point the 28-year-old being ready. His return may not make much of a difference in most fantasy leagues, as he has just 12 points total on the season.

Skille (concussion) was placed on the injured reserve list Monday, per the NHL's official media site. Skille is eligible to return Feb. 12, when Colorado plays at Detroit. The 28-year-old winger has tallied seven goals and five assists in 54 games this season. His absence might not be noticed in the fantasy world, as he has gone pointless in the last 12 games.

  • Avalanche's Jack Skille: Will not play Tuesday
    By RotoWire Staff

Skille (concussion) will not play Tuesday night versus the Canucks. Avalanche coach Patrick Roy said, "Nothing new on him." Skille missed Saturday's game against the Jets, and given the complicated nature of concussions in general, it's not a surprise that the Wisconsin native needs more time to recover. Of course, even when healthy, Skille has been enigmatic in the attacking zone, putting up just 12 points in 54 games this season.
