Prosser scored his first goal of the season in a 3-2 loss to the Red Wings on Sunday. The 30-year-old has just five points in 36 games all season. He is routinely a healthy scratch, and when he plays, he averages just 12:38 per game. Obviously, there's very little, if any, fantasy value here.
Prosser blocked one shot but did not have a shot on goal in 13:52 of ice time in Friday's win over the Rangers. Prosser and Christian Folin have alternated games off as healthy scratches the last three games.
Prosser had four hits, but no shots on goal, in 13:41 of ice time in Tuesday's win over Colorado. Prosser had missed the last three games after Christian Folin returned from a knee injury. It sounds like Prosser and Folin could alternate as healthy scratches in the near future.
Prosser (illness) will be back in the lineup for Saturday's game in St. Louis. With Christian Folin going down with an MCL sprain Friday, the timing of Prosser's return could not be better. While he will provide some relief for Minnesota in the wake of the aforementioned injury, his one assist and 12:46 of average ice time aren't likely to entice fantasy owners.
Prosser (illness) will not play Tuesday against Winnipeg, the Minneapolis Star Tribune reports. He missed Monday's game with the illness and could be out a few more days. Marco Scandella will return Tuesday to fill his spot on the blue line.
