Hayes (lower body) is not in line to suit up for Wednesday's playoff opener against Ottawa. Hayes has been able to practice of late, so we'll operate under the assumption that he's available to the team as an extra forward and could draw back into the lineup if injuries hit the B's up front. In 58 games this past season, the 6-foot-5, 215-pounder was held to a mere two goals and five points with a minus-3 rating.
Hayes (lower body) won't play Tuesday against the Lightning. As the B's approach the last three games on their regular-season slate, Hayes' frustrating campaign continues, with the 6-foot-5 forward needing nothing more than to find some momentum in advance of the playoffs. Through 58 games, Hayes has logged just two goals and five points.
Hayes (lower body) will miss Sunday's game in Chicago. The winger was questionable after getting dinged up Saturday and wasn't ready to go for Sunday's afternoon tilt. With only five points in 58 games, fantasy owners should try to avoid him, anyway.
Hayes (lower body) is considered questionable for Sunday's game against Chicago, Joe Haggerty of CSN New England reports. The game against the Blackhawks is an early afternoon affair Sunday, so it's not surprising to see Hayes listed as questionable following his injury suffered Saturday. The Bruins have recalled Sean Kuraly from Providence of the American Hockey League.
Hayes left the game and did not return Saturday against the Panthers, and he is now listed as day-to-day. This shouldn't affect any fantasy teams, as Hayes averages 9:23 of ice time this season, and only has five points in 57 games. He does make a splash in the physical component, though, dishing out 73 hits this season. He could play Sunday in Chicago, but with that being a noon start time, it's less likely.
