Doan (lower body) will not be ready to go for Monday's game in St. Louis, Sarah McLellan of the Arizona Republic reports. The Coyotes have elected to keep Doan off the ice for a couple days in hope that it will help his lower-body injury heal. Either way, the veteran winger does not present enough fantasy value even when healthy, so he can be safely ignored in most formats.
Doan (lower body) won't play Saturday against Washington. The Coyotes have already been eliminated from playoff contention, so there's no reason for them to rush Doan back into the lineup. The 40-year-old forward's next chance to return to game action will come Monday against the Blues.
Doan (lower body) won't play Thursday against the Panthers, but he could return to action Saturday against Washington. The Coyotes have no incentive to rush Doan back, so they'll let their captain return to full health before slotting him back into the lineup, which evidently could happen as soon as this weekend. Now 40 years old, the winger has only produced 25 points in 70 games this season, so his owners shouldn't have too much trouble finding a replacement on the waiver wire.
Doan (lower body) will not suit up for Tuesday's matchup in Tampa Bay. Despite the connotation that Doan's injury is nothing serious, the veteran winger will miss his third straight game as a result of the ailment. Promising rookie Christian Fischer is slated to play his fourth NHL game Tuesday while Doan remains sidelined.
Doan (lower body) will not be in the lineup against the Predators on Monday. Doan had garnered an assist in each of his last two outings prior to sitting out Saturday's matchup. It looks like the veteran will have to wait at least one more game to keep his point streak going, although with Monday being the first night of a back-to-back, his status for Tuesday is certainly up in the air.
